This programme can be delivered as a half day or full day course. Longer sessions allow more time for putting the theory into practice.

Delivery is a mix of large and small group discussion, theory & exercises. Attendees will put what they have learnt into practice by developing a mediation plan.

Anna Quinn has over 20 years of experience in mediation ranging from community to commercial and is a leading trainer in the dispute resolution field in New Zealand. She is a Resolution Institute Fellow and mediation trainer and has lectured at Auckland University Law School. Anna trained for the Institute of Judicial Studies on courtroom management and communications. Prior to moving into mediation practice Anna spent a decade practicing as a commercial litigator in NZ and London.
Carol Powell is a barrister and mediator with more than 20 years experience in mediation and dispute resolution across a range of practice areas. Carol is a Resolution Institute Fellow and mediation trainer and is part of the advanced mediation training team in the Masters Programme at Monash University in Melbourne. Carol has written widely in the area of dispute resolution. Prior to focusing on mediation, Carol worked in commercial litigation in large city firms in Auckland and London.
