A call for 2022 conference proposals

Resolution Institute is now calling for abstracts and proposals for papers to be delivered at our upcoming conference to be held in Sydney on 7th October 2022: Green Shoots: Emerging Trends in Dispute Resolution

As the world emerges from a tumultuous period brought on by a global pandemic, dispute resolution processes have remained an integral component of building and maintaining healthy and equitable outcomes for all communities. The projected economic outlook in global and local economies, foreshadows the green shoots of recovery are emerging and will transform to vibrant growth across a wide range of sectors.

The conference to be held in Sydney at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on 7th October is a long overdue opportunity to bring our members together to network, discuss the changing landscape of dispute resolution and guide Resolution Institute into the future.

The one-day main conference programme will include plenary sessions and specialist streams across the whole spectrum of dispute resolution including mediation, conciliation, arbitration, adjudication, expert determination, family dispute resolution and collaborative practice. We invite speaking proposals on a wide range of topics, relating to the theme of the conference. We also encourage proposals for panel discussions and interactive sessions.

The main conference programme will be supported by speciality workshops and masterclasses in the days prior to the conference. These will be optional and in addition to the main conference, allowing registrants to deep dive into the topics that are of specific interest to them. The conference will close with a gala and awards dinner on the Friday evening (7th October). There will be ample opportunity throughout the conference to network and interact with your peers and colleagues, to share and discuss your challenges and experiences, forge new connections and build a supportive network in this evolving world.
