Relate-Resolve-Restore conference Revived
The 2017 Conflict Resolution Conference
1 - 2 November 2017, Wellington, New Zealand
After such a high level of interest in the Relate-Resolve-Restore conference and the really amazing support when the conference was cancelled after the Kaikoura earthquake, we’ve decided to bring it back!
The Relate-Resolve-Restore conference is being Recovered-Revived-Rerun!
Whether you had planned to attend the 2016 conference or not put this 1-2 November 2017 in your diary.
- We are excited that many of the invited speakers have agreed to present in 2017... Chris Straker, Jane Bolitho , Linda Kochanski, Michael Klug, Ian Macduff, Chris Marshall, Grant Morris and Annabel Shaw.
- We anticipate that many of the fantastic workshop sessions planned for 2016 will run in 2017.
- We'll have exciting new presenters and workshops too.
Relate - Resolve - Restore
Dealing constructively with conflict is essential to achieving a just and peaceful society. Conflicts come in many shapes and sizes and there is no “one size fits all” solution. Methods of resolution need to be tailored to the circumstances.
This unique, multi-disciplinary conference will explore the broad spectrum of alternative conflict resolution processes, looking at both the latest developments within each discipline and the potential for cross-fertilisation and collaboration between approaches. Plenary sessions will deal with issues of common concern while workshops will enable practitioners and policymakers within the various fields of mediation, arbitration, conciliation and restorative justice/practice to share learning and encourage innovation.
Registrations open in June. For programme information and registration costs visit the conference website>>
