MEDIA RELEASE: Australasia’s largest dispute resolution organisation launches best practice industry awards
Wednesday 11 November 2020
Resolution Institute, Australasia’s largest dispute resolution organisation, has launched the Resolution Institute Awards 2021.
The awards aim to recognise individuals and organisations from the dispute resolution industry who have succeeded in the practice of dispute resolution through superior service and professionalism across all sectors. This includes a first-of-its-kind award for service to dispute resolution which recognises individuals or organisations whose work has gone above and beyond in enhancing dispute resolution development, theory, practice or context across the spectrum.
Resolution Institute CEO, Amber Williams, said: “We are delighted to be launching the awards which are an integral part of engaging the industry and recognising the important work dispute resolvers do in serving the communities of Australasia. Out of court dispute resolution has been a vitally important and successful part of the community for several decades and is more important now than ever before.”
An independent judging process will be overseen by an experienced and esteemed committee chaired by a highly experienced practitioner and author, Mieke Brandon who said: “Dispute resolution practitioners are the backbone of resolving disputes without litigation. These awards want to recognise and acknowledge those working in the field of dispute resolution for their important contribution and hard work.”
Nominations are now open and will close at 5 pm AEDT on 27 November, with the winners to be announced at the Resolution Institute Conference Dinner on 18 March 2021.
