General Manager (NZ) takes on interesting and worthwhile role in women's health

It’s sad news that our our highly capable and dedicated General Manager (NZ), Catherine Cooper has resigned from Resolution Institute after six years in the role.  And the silver lining is that Catherine commences from 24 June as the Manager New Zealand with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Of course, this is tough to hear for members, staff, the Board and me personally. We will miss Catherine.

And the decision was even tougher for Catherine who said “It was a really difficult decision to resign and move to a new role. I have very much enjoyed my time at Resolution Institute. The most memorable part of my time at Resolution Institute will be the amazing people that make up the community that is Resolution Institute. The very special team in here in Wellington, the wider team that includes all the members that work with us in a variety of ways, and the team in Sydney.”

Catherine has brought to the role of General Manager in New Zealand vivacity, sensitivity, wise decision-making, a consultative approach and an emphasis on building relationships with members, staff and people from government and other agencies.

I am sure you will join me in letting Catherine know how much we have valued her contribution and in wishing her well in this next exciting step in her career.
