CEO update March 2022

Dear Members,

With restrictions having been lifted in NSW, the Resolution Institute team have started to transition back into the office as of last week. It was good to be able to see each other in person once again. I also look forward to being able to see members again in person at upcoming CPD events.

On that note, we are excited to finally be back running face to face training in Australia with a variety of workshops scheduled for the coming months including the five-day NMAS mediation workshop to be held in Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, and Adelaide. These face to face workshops will continue to be supported by online sessions as well to provide flexibility and choice in the delivery format.

RIDC renewal process completed

Thank you to those that registered their interest in joining the Resolution Institute Determinative Committee, the renewal process has now ended. We had a fantastic response that enabled us to accept some new members and continue with those members that have already played such a pivotal part on this committee and its subcommittees. We look forward to working with you over the term of the RIDC to continue to highlight the importance of the work of our determinative members.

Association Management System and Resolution Institute website

Since January this year, staff have been involved in a project to upgrade our Association Management System (AMS) and website. This is an important project for Resolution Institute as it gives us the ability to manage our membership, training, accreditation and CPD offerings in a flexible and agile manner as well as developing a website that reflects the profile and needs of our users. As the project progresses, I will share with you snippets of what you will see in the new system as it will make things easier from a member perspective to find resources, as well as renewing your membership in future years.

Take care,
Amber
