CEO update | June 2021 | An important conference update, and a reminder to renew your membership
With the recent announcement of lockdowns in NSW, QLD, NT, WA, and restrictions in place once again in Aotearoa New Zealand and other states across Australia, we know that people have once again been isolated from their families, friends and workplaces. It is a challenging time for all, and Resolution Institute is here to support you during this time.
Unfortunately, due to the recent COVID-19 lockdowns, restrictions and border closures, Resolution Institute has made the decision to move the 2021 Conference: Resilience and Reinvention: Dispute Resolution During a Crisis and Beyond on 15-16 July online and create a fully virtual conference.
Whilst it is disappointing given delegates from across Australia and New Zealand had registered for a face-to-face event, a further postponement would mean that members would not be able to hear from our fantastic line up of speakers and we felt it was important to be agile and give you the opportunity to experience the conference in this virtual format. This decision was not made lightly, but the safety of our attendees is of the utmost importance to us all.
We have engaged a technology provider experienced in hosting virtual conferences to assist us in the delivery of an innovative virtual and interactive experience that will be recorded.
We have re-opened registrations for the virtual experience, and by attending online attendees will be able to access the following at a significantly discounted rate:
- The full range of the impressive programme including the plenaries AND all specialist sessions from the comfort of your home
- All conference materials (in an online format)
- Access to all conference sessions for up to a month following the live event, giving you the ability to access up to 29 CPD points / hours
- Access to discounted post-conference masterclasses
I am disappointed that circumstances mean that we won’t be able to proceed in a face-to-face format on this occasion; it is still set to be an amazing line up and I encourage you to make the most of this unique opportunity. By registering for the full two days, you will be able to attend the live stream of the conference and participate in the interactive sessions and online networking opportunities, as well as watch the recordings of the sessions you were not able to attend on the day for up to a month following the live virtual conference.
