CEO update | July 2022 | A hive of activity at Resolution Institute

Dear Members,

It has been a hive of activity over the past month with membership renewals, several public training courses and workshops running (held both online and face to face), as well as in-house programmes for our corporate partners. We are also in the thick of developing content for our new website, testing our new membership system which will go live later this year, and generally preparing for the year ahead!

Membership renewals 2022–23
Thank you for your membership and continued support over the last year. It is once again that time of year to log in to your member account and renew your membership if you haven’t done so already.  If you haven’t already renewed your membership, you may notice that any accreditations awarded to you or managed by Resolution Institute now show as ‘suspended’ as does your profile and any panels or committees you are on. Once you renew, these will automatically be reactivated.

Renewing will only take a few minutes and can be done by following these five simple steps:

1. Log in to www.resolution.institute with your username
2. Go to 'My account'
3. Click on 'Renew your membership'
4. Select your membership in the table
5. Click on renew

Board Planning Meeting and Peer Group Supervision
Earlier this month the Board met face to face (for the first time since early 2020) to discuss the strategic plan for the period of 2022-2024. It was a time to stop and reflect on achievements, the challenges we have faced in the past two years, and to use the opportunity to look forward and prioritise initiatives for the remainder of the strategic plan period.

We discussed several new initiatives and focus areas that will be further explored and tested to form the operational business plan, or delivery roadmap, for the next two years. You will be sure to hear more about these from me as we build them out and test the ideas with members and our member committees!

In the meeting, the Board also approved for a Peer Group Supervision Programme to be rolled out to facilitative members from early 2023. As part of this programme, members will be entitled to six peer group supervision sessions as part of their membership fee. The NSW Facilitative Committee has run two state-based pilots over the last two years, receiving strong feedback from participants, so now we would like to offer all facilitative practitioners the opportunity to access these groups as part of a national pilot. Thank you to the NSW Facilitative Committee members for putting into place a programme that has had such a positive impact on participants to date.

Sessions will commence from February 2023, allowing time for training of supervisors and establishment of peer groups by the national subcommittee and staff.

Conference – 7th October 2022
Finally, don’t forget to save the date for the Australian Conference and Gala Dinner to be held on 7th October 2022. Registrations will be going live shortly so watch this space for more information!

Warm regards
Amber
