On demand | Webinar | NEC4 contracts and collaborative contracting
with Steven C Evans
On demand | Online
The latest push in infrastructure spending will again highlight that we are trying to procure substantial construction works using methods and contracts that are decades old.
Experience of these are often negative with cost and time blow outs, claims and litigation, not helped by our adversarial approach to contracting.
Many other countries have embraced the advantages of collaborative contracting and use of such contracts as the NEC4 suite. In some, it is mandated by government and has proved successful in improving project outcomes for all stakeholders. Some high-profile clients in Australia have already adopted the contract – should others follow?
The presentation was hosted by Shady Mikhail from the Resolution Institute Sydney Determinative Professional Development Group, Shady is Principal, CFPM Solutions (CFPM Solutions is a delay analysis and forensic planning expert service provider).
