An essential review of recent guidance by courts of superior record, on the application and operation of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (NSW) 1999. The presentations will be of interest to adjudicators, claims consultants, lawyers and in house counsel involved in the Act’s scheme for rapid, binding determination of disputed payment claims.

David has been an arbitrator since 1984, a mediator since 1995, an adjudicator since 2000 and has also acted as an expert determiner. He now practises solely as an arbitrator, adjudicator, expert determiner and mediator. He is accredited as an adjudicator in all Australian states and territories except South Australia. David specialises in disputes involving complex contractual and jurisdictional issues which can be
determined on the basis of the evidence presented and does not require the adjudicator to act on the basis of his own expertise in inspecting the works.
