About the speakers
John Joseph Woodward
John Woodward is a solicitor; an accredited mediator with a Masters of Law in dispute resolution from The University of New South Wales (2014); an arbitrator of the Local Court of New South Wales appointed under the Civil Procedure Act 2005; the dispute resolution officer for Northern NSW Soccer Federation; casual lecturer in Company Law and Incorporations & Business Associations Law at the University of New South Wales and sessional lecturer in civil procedure at the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Newcastle. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle, about to submit his thesis on court-connected dispute resolution. John is a member of the committee of the Newcastle Chapter of Resolution Institute.
