SA adjudicator masterclass event

Resolution Institute's Adelaide professional development group is conducting a masterclass for adjudicators on 25 June 2022.

The masterclass is an interactive workshop where participants will be expected to contribute to the debate on issues where participants will be assessed in their contribution and their understanding of the adjudication process in South Australia and as affected by other jurisdictions.

Attendance at a masterclass and a satisfactory assessment are mandatory requirements for re-accreditation in accordance with the Resolution Institute policy on the accreditation and register of adjudicators.

Intending participants are requested to submit their topics (maximum of 100 words) to Resolution Institute (richa.bahuguna@resolution.institute) no later than Friday, 10 June 2022 so that they can be collated to enable the programme.

Tim Sullivan will be the principal facilitator and will be attending by video conference.

About the presenter

Tim Sullivan
(LFIAMA (now Resolution Institute); Dip Law (LPAB))

Tim is an arbitrator, mediator, dispute board member and Chair, Dispute Resolution Consultant. He is an adjudicator under the NSW, VIC, South Australia and ACT building and construction industry Security of Payment Acts and the equivalent Queensland Act. He is also a company director, contract administrator, expert determiner and workplace assessor.

Tim was an Adjunct Associate Professor, faculty of business, government and law, University of Canberra and past national president - Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia.

Tim’s company, contract administration group, is the only body appointed under the Queensland Security of Payment Act to issue the certificate in adjudication to adjudicate in Queensland (https://www.contractadmin.net.au).
