PDG event | Workplace mediation: The process

This seminar will discuss a step by step process of running a workplace mediation:

-Why mediation is a constructive solution for workplace conflict

-How to make the use of pre-mediation sessions

-How to assess suitability for mediation

-How to prepare the parties for a mediation

-How to conduct the mediation including setting the agenda, the format of the joint and private session and facilitating the parties to explore options of an agreement

-The mediator's interactions with the referrer from the employer organisation

About the presenter

Elizabeth Rosa

Elizabeth is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and the Principal of Resolve-at-Work and she conducts mediations and facilitations in the area of workplace conflict for a variety of organisations. She has a background as a lawyer, practicing in insurance litigation, workers compensation and employment law. Elizabeth is an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Law, lecturing in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution and Ethical Decision Making.

Elizabeth loves working with people and helping them find a way out of workplace conflict. She is passionate about exploring the best practice in mediation for constructive and safe conversations. Elizabeth runs workshops throughout Australia on workplace mediations for skills-building for mediators.
