We warmly invite you to join Amber Williams, CEO, Resolution Institute and Jeniffer Drennan, Chair, Professional Development Group (Newcastle,NSW) for the end-of-year event.
In this informal discussion Amber will discuss her journey so far at Resolution Institute and share her plans for the future and Jeniffer will reflect on 2020, the year it was and other more interesting subjects.
Amber is an experienced executive with a diverse background in both the private and public sectors across a number of industries. Amber was appointed as CEO of Resolution Institute in November 2019. Prior to her appointment she was the Chief Executive Officer of the New South Wales Law Enforcement Conduct Commission having led the development and implementation of that Agency. Prior to that Amber was Chief Human Resources Officer for the New South Wales Department of Justice. Where her responsibilities included the operational delivery of significant business projects, government reforms and workplace changes across the Justice Cluster of Agencies and providing high level advice and support to the Department Secretary and Ministers.
Before joining the NSW Government, Amber held a number of roles in the private sector across the health and fast-moving consumer goods sectors.
Amber holds a Master of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Macquarie University. She is a certified member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Amber’s role as CEO is to work with the board in setting and delivering the strategic direction of Resolution Institute to ensure the future success of the organisation, and to work in the interests of members to grow services and expand the profile of Resolution Institute and dispute resolution within the community.
Jeniffer Drennan studied law at the University of New England majoring in alternative dispute resolution. She has been a conciliator for fourteen years and is now a General Member of the Civil and Administrative Triunal of NSW.
Jennifer is the current chair of Newcastle PDG and has been associated with the group for over 10 years, assisting novacastrians, providing support and organising networking sessions to access continuing professional development.
