The much-awaited discussion on how to market your mediation practice and ethically sell your services is finally here as a two-part CPD event. A panel of experts in the fields of Marketing, Selling, Research and Information Technology will provide a framework for:
- considering your mediation practice
- refining your personal brand
- developing your personal plan
- promoting your mediation business
This interactive professional development event will challenge how you think. It will not tell you how to manage your career or spoon-feed you with product knowledge. Instead, it will present the latest information, research findings, thinking strategies, and IT platforms to best equip you to decide how you will start-up or re-launch your mediation practice.
Both sessions will include practical exercises – with an opportunity for our speakers to provide feedback - and a panel Q & A.
Session one kicked off with compelling research about ‘Your Value’ and ‘Client Choice’ from our keynote speaker, Prof Simon Bell.
In Session two our keynote speaker, Sue Barrett, will explore the important concept of ‘Personal Brand’ and how to get noticed and remembered. These ideas will assist mediators identify successful strategies to naturally promote and ethically sell what they do best. This session will include a panel Q & A chaired by accredited mediators (NMAS) Michelle Royal-Hebblewhite and William Pryor.
In both sessions you will also hear from an expert in Information Technology, Glenn Baxter (Baxter IT). Now in its 25th year, Baxter IT has consistently provided quality Information Technology services to a broad mix of Australian businesses, including CSIRO and the Australian Electoral Commission. Glenn will provide a high level view of issues often considered when establishing a fully responsive and functional website. Glenn can help you understand critical choices; assisting you with successful execution of website design, creation and ongoing management. He will also comment on social media as a channel option in terms of adding value to client relationships.

About the key note speaker
