Pip Murphy, Vannin Capital
Pip Murphy has extensive experience managing, and advising on, commercial transactions and claims in Australia and internationally. Before joining Vannin Capital, Pip was a Partner of leading global law firm Baker McKenzie and head of the firm's Asia Pacific Risk and Crisis Management Practice Group. During her time with Vannin Capital, Pip has worked with law firms, claimants, financial advisors, insolvency practitioners, experts and barristers in assessing claims for funding and, managing claims that Vannin has committed to fund. These claims include class actions and high-value commercial litigation and arbitration.
Dawna Wright, FTI Consulting
Dawna Wright is a Senior Managing Director and Leader of the Australian Forensic Accounting and Advisory Services practice of FTI Consulting. She has been involved in many high profile and complex matters such as the Black Saturday bushfires class action, the Timbercorp class action, Pan Pharmaceuticals’ recall/litigation and the Toll/Patrick dispute. She has acted for many top listed companies such as Amcor, Asahi, Coles, Crown, Fosters, Telstra and Woolworths, and on matters involving regulators such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Australia Taxation Office.
Glen Ward, Partner, MinterEllison
Glen Ward is a partner in MinterEllison's dispute resolution team. He regularly advises clients on commercial disputes and dispute-avoidance measures. He has acted for clients in a number of large scale litigated disputes with a particular focus on contractual disputes, partnership and joint venture disputes, Corporations Act disputes, and disputes, advisory and regulatory matters in the gaming space.
