About the presenter - Matthew Young, Barrister
Matthew Young was admitted to practice in 1987. He has worked as a Commercial and Litigation Solicitor with Knox & Hargrave, Wallmans, the Australian Government Solicitor and Townsends. Matthew was also employed as a legal officer with the Law Society of SA/Complaints Committee.
He first trained as a mediator with LEADR then gained accreditation in 1994 and again in 2017.
Matthew ran his own Sole Practice for 10 years as both Barrister & Solicitor. In January 2012 he moved into Torrens Chambers where he has continued to practice solely as a Barrister.
In addition to Matthew's LLB, BA & GDLP since being admitted he has obtained a Master of Laws and completed the Bar Reader’s course. Matthew's main field is in the area of general commercial litigation, but he has also practised in criminal and family courts.
