About my services
Jodie has been engaged on multiple high level projects including the review, development and implementation of strategic HR infrastructure, large multi-party enterprise agreement strategies, complex workplace investigations, complicated industrial relations advocacy in tribunals and other authorities, sensitive dispute, conflict and grievance resolution, negotiations with Australian trade unions and a range of employee and organisation related matters.
She has provided strategic diagnosis and advice in relation to executive remuneration, compliance obligations, risk and workplace culture and has sat on a number of consultative and advisory committees during complex negotiations and organisational reviews, audits and restructures. She is a trusted advisor at Board level and in many ‘C-Suites’ and maintains a balanced and fair view at all times.
Jodie is passionate about employee relations and always applies an empathetic and caring approach to ER / IR, mediation and advocacy work. She is proud of her craft but understands that it can be daunting for some so she uses compassion and kindness as her starting point whenever she is dealing with people.
Jodie has formal human resources qualifications and most recently graduated from the Australian Labour and Employee Relations Association’s Advocacy Course, is a certified member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and is a highly sought-after speaker at local and national Human Resources conferences.
Jodie recently updated her formal mediation qualifications at the Resolution Institute (LEADER) and has gained her full accreditation to practice as a nationally accredited Mediator in the Australian National Mediator Accreditation Standards (ANMAS).
Her achievements include invitations to be the Chairperson at the 2015 and 2016 National Human Resources Summit Australia and she has been selected for a position on the judging panel of the Australian Human Resources Awards every year since 2014.
