Sharin Ruba is a Nationally Accredited Mediator from the University of Western Australia, a Committee member of the Resolution Institute WA Chapter and a Committee Member & involved in Family Dispute Resolution for WA Fairhaven Rebuilding Centre Inc.
Sharin holds a masters in Business, degree in Commerce, mediation qualifications, postgraduate diploma in Family Dispute Resolution, Cert IV Training, Events and Hotel management qualifications.
Sharin is involved in conflict resolution, mediates and works in commercial, workplace, community and family areas. Sharin is a business, HR and Marketing consultant in a wide range of industries, project manage and policy writer, team builder, motivational speaker; and has trained more than three and a half thousand people in all aspects of business needs, corporate negotiations and consultations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.
Sharin as Tourist Bureau President and Curtin Campus Administrator in Northam worked with Dr Nonja Peters, Director of Curtin University of Technology's 'Migration, Ethnicity, Refugees and Citizenship (MERC) Research Unit the founder of the Northam Multicultural Festival. In that period, Dr Peters organised an international conference at Curtin: 'Mediating Human Rights and Democracy: Indonesia, Australia and the Netherlands Human Rights’.
Sharin as a Board member of Share & Care Community Services Group Inc Community organisation, and Board member of Commonwealth Care Link has assisted in aged care, disabled, women’s, children and Indigenous peoples needs and welfare.
Sharin has also been acknowledged and thanked by Dr Dede Bonner from The George Washington University and visiting professor at Curtin University. the author of the book "1O Best Questions for Living with Alzheimer's" for contributions to her research.
Sharin also assists Associate Professor Jill Howieson at the University of Western Australia’s Law School and was Director of the national Mediator Standards Board and is the Director of UWA Mediation Clinic to coach and invigilate students in the ADR program at UWA.
