Maintain accreditation

Every three years we'll send you a reminder to apply for renewal of your accreditation. To maintain your accreditation you'll need to show us that you've met continuous professional development (CPD) requirements over the three years:

  • mediated at least 75 hours; or
  • attended workshops, courses or e-learning relating to mediation of at least 25 hours; or
  • attended workshops, courses or e-lectures relating to mediation for at least 12.5 hours and taught mediation for at least 12.5 hours.

Any CPD you complete with us will automatically be recorded on our CPD tracker. You can also add other CPD you complete. Recording CPD as you go makes renewing your accreditations much easier.

Resolution Institute training and accreditation assessment meets the criteria for accreditation under the (Australian) National Mediator Accreditation Scheme (NMAS) which means if you have Resolution Institute Mediation accreditation you can also choose to apply for NMAS accreditation.
