Conflict management coaching certification

Certification as a CINERGY™ conflict management coach signifies your commitment to continuous improvement and gives your clients an assurance of quality.

In conflict management coaching a coach supports and helps an individual to deal with specific conflict situations and to become competent in managing disputes. It is voluntary and confidential enabling people to gain insight in examining their own contribution to conflict and the choices available to them. As a certified CINERGY™ conflict management coach, you will be able to coach individuals to:

  • Understand and reflect on their approach to conflict
  • Help shift destructive reactions to more constructive responses
  • Communicate effectively in conflict situations
  • Develop skills to manage disputes more collaboratively.

Become a certified conflict management coach with us to appear in our dispute resolver directories.

Step 2: Practice your new skills

Complete the whole conflict management coaching model with at least 3 - 5 different clients. Clients may include colleagues, co-workers, fellow conflict management coaching course attendees, friends and family members as well as clients who retain your services.

Step 3: Apply for certification and pass the assessment

Record yourself (using video) conducting a two hour long conflict management coaching session and submit your video to us for assessment along with the CMC certification application form. Details of the assessment process can be found in the Conflict Management Coach Certification assessment process sheet below.

You will then need to pay the assessment fee of AU$395. We will send you an invoice with instructions on how to pay this fee.

Then, we will arrange for your submission to be assessed by a conflict management coaching competency assessor against the CINERGY™ conflict management coaching model and competencies. They will determine if you are 'competent' or 'not yet competent'.

If you receive an assessment of 'not yet competent', you may complete another assessment session. Additional assessments will incur additional fees.

Step 4: Sign declaration

After applying for certification, having been assessed as competent, you must declare to comply with the 'Model Standards of Ethical Conduct for Conflict Management Coaches'.
